QUALITIES OF GENUINE LEATHER

• Leather is a natural product and therefore differs from hide to hide. Variations in the texture of the leather should not be considered a flaw but inherent to the natural beauty and uniqueness of the leather. 
• As every piece of leather is different and may accept color dyes a little differently during the tanning process, this may cause irregularities in the consistency and depth of the color. 
• Leather will always have natural marking such as dents, scars, scratches, or wrinkles. These natural markings or irregularities should not be considered a defect but rather indications of genuine leather.

HERE ARE A FEW EASY TIPS ON HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR LEATHER PRODUCTS:

• Avoid overstuffing the product.
• Avoid storing open pointed objects as this might damage the inner material and hide of the product.
• Use a soft brush to remove dust particles from the crevices of the leather.
• Use a high-quality leather moisturizing cream for your HERSATCHELS leather products. If not available, use a very small quantity of mild body lotion or natural oil. Not all leathers can be cleaned with liquid solutions or moisturizing creams. Always do a patch test before using it on your HERSATCHELS leather products. (This is just a suggested measure. Hersatchels should not be held responsible for damage to any product due to the use of mentioned oil, lotion, solutions, or creams)
• Do not fold your bags while storing them on shelves of wardrobes or cupboards. Always stuff your HERSATCHELS leather bag with neatly rolled papers or cotton cloths to retain its shape. Ensure your stuff the corners to avoid wrinkles. 
• Place your leather bag in a clean cotton cloth bag and in a well-aired space.
• Keep your HERSATCHELS Leather products away from heat. This may lead to cracks or drying of leather. 
• Leather products may catch fungus if kept in damp places. To remove fungus, use soft clean cotton dipped in a very small quantity of mild Antiseptic Liquid (minor portion) + Water Solution (major portion) and leave it to dry in normal light.
